The thesis deals with the design and production of a furniture prototype for a preschool locker room. The furniture is designed to meet safety requirements for toddler's furniture, hygiene and ergonomics requirements for children. The theoretical part includes a description of preschool age, ergonomics, requirements for toddler's interior and furniture, requirements for storage furniture and a description of materials. The practical part contains research compiled from photographs of various preschool facilities in the Czech Republic. It contains a description of the selected preschool facility, including the defined space of the dressing room. It also involves own designs, visualizations and final product photos.

Problematika úložného nábytku v interiéru

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of storage furniture and provides with an insight to the modern solution of its design. The bachelor thesis is divided into 2 main parts - practical and theoretical. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the issue of storage furniture, legislatively classifies it and provides basic definitions, as well as fundamental terms related to storage furniture. It also includes a brief overview of the historical development of storage furniture and an introduction to the scientific disciplines associated with the issue of its production. The following chapters also provide a primary division of storage furniture according to established classification groups. Towards the end of this part, the work is focused on the description of materials, technologies and equipment of storage furniture used during the creation of the following innovative design solution. The practical part of the work then focuses on the development of design of storage furniture, from the initial creation of sketches to the design object in its final form.

There is also the describtion of materials, surface adjustment and proposal construction.

Design of bookcase for specific interior

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a free-standing bookcase for a specific customer. The thesis is divided into two main parts – thereotical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the development of bookcases and libraries as well as storing of books, which includes standards, sizing, ergonomics and materials being used for book storage furniture manufacturing. The theoretical part also contains research of the current free-standing bookcases market. The practical part describes a new bookcase design process, all the calculations made for its correct sizing, the bookcase manufacturing itself and a description of materials used for the bookcase production. The practical part also includes a collection of newly designed bookcase visualizations and all production costs.

This thesis deals with the interior of the family house, with a focus on the social area, kitchen and living room. Design of bathroom and corridor, located on the same floor, is an additional part of the thesis. The main objective is to preserve the original appearance of the interior and link it appropriately to modern times. The theoretical part deals with the issue of individual rooms. Own design of interior proceed from theoretical part. The output of thesis is a design of the interior and design of the atypical furniture. The output is in the form of drawings and 3D visualization.

Thesis deals with issues of storage furniture, which is designed for an entrance area of a family house. It's therefore a hall equipment. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with appropriate kinds of furniture for a hall, which is primarily storage furniture. Aslo it discusses about problems of furniture dimension, material, construction and safety. Final proposal of hall equipment is based on search existing offers on the czech market. Practical part of the thesis deals with construction solution of furniture design in the hall. The main point is worked out technological documentation.

Návrh zázemí výstavních expozic a jejich mobiliáře

The submitted thesis is focused on the design of two types of furniture that are designed for the company Veletrhy Brno, a.s. This company has established cooperation with the author thanks to her thesis concerning the design of promotional stand. In the current thesis the first design is the table in the style of a showcase, and the second is the shelf unit in the style of a binder. Both products are in accordance with the requirements of the contractor and were made from exhibition material of modular system -- Octanorm. The theoretical part of the thesis is aimed at the characteristics of exhibitions, Octanorm material and the requirements for the creation of tables and storage furniture. In terms of design quality, analysis was conducted from a position of organizer, exhibitors and visitors, which underlines the needs of all three categories. The final part of the project describes in detail the origin and design of both products, which were created on the basis of the previous theoretical and practical knowledge.

This thesis deals mainly with a problem of kitchen furniture and facilities, the aim is attic apartment design focused on kitchen. Interior equipment should correspond with requirements of standards, technical literature and particularly future residents imaginations. In theoretical part of this thesis there are important information summarized. This is the basis for interior design. Design of bedroom is an additional part of the thesis. In document appendix there is a foundation for atypical furniture production that includes list of materials, economical review and documentation for interior equipment. Whole paper is conceived to be realized, because the place is real.
